AA+D is a full service firm founded on the principles of architectural excellence that is environmentally sensitive and tailored specifically for our clients, the site, and the overall program. Since it's inception in 2002, AA+D has completed over 200 residential and commercial projects and continues to have a strong portfolio of work. We pride ourselves on a holistic approach to the practice of architecture and thoughtful collaboration with our clients. Our expertise ranges from schematic design through construction management. We are currently providing our services in the Hudson Valley, Northwestern Connecticut, and on Martha’s Vineyard.

John C. Allee, AIA - Principal
John has a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Texas and extensive experience on residential as well as mid-sized institutional projects. During his tenure at Tod Williams Billie Tsein Architects, John was involved in the Cranbrook School Natatorium (Michigan) and the Folk Art Museum (New York). At Polshek Partnership he primarily worked on the expansion and renovation of the New York Hall of Science as well as the master plan for the Bronx Botanical Gardens. With Centerbrook Architects, John worked on the Trinity Pawling School Art Center in Pawling, New York.
